Position Description:
The Department of Energy and Environment’s Lead-Safe and Healthy Housing Division is
seeking a graduate student (MPH or MS in Statistics) for a minimum three-month internship providing data quality assurance to improve the health of children in the District of Columbia. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with auditing, data entry, and deduplication of surveillance data as part of a large public health database. In addition, this internship will provide the opportunity to assist the agency’s epidemiologist in using SAS to analyze data trends and produce a written report.
