DCNR seeks interns drawn to challenging and rewarding career experiences in conservation, recreation, and environmental protection.
As a DCNR intern, you can play a role in protecting and enhancing our natural lands, overseeing the state park system, managing state forest lands, and/or expanding outdoor education and recreation opportunities throughout the state.
Who Can Apply?:
DCNR provides both paid and unpaid internships, which are available to full-time college students. The number of positions varies from year to year, based on department needs. You may apply for an internship with DCNR if you meet this criteria:
- Are in good academic standing
- Are enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, which offers or leads to an associate, bachelor, or graduate degree
DCNR is seeking students majoring in programs such as:
- Architecture
- Communications
- Geology
- GIS
- Engineering
- Environmental Education
- Forestry
- Parks and Recreation
- Public Policy
- Natural Sciences
