Mt. Cuba - Summer Internships
Mt. Cuba Center's 2018 Internships:
We are pleased to announce Mt. Cuba Center’s 2018 internships in the following areas: Curation, Public Engagement, Visitor Experience, Arboriculture, Ecological Gardening, and Greenhouse. We would like to extend an invitation for qualified students to apply for one of seven internship positions. We have openings for three summer interns and four year-long interns. Each unique position is detailed on our 2018 Internship webpage.
Mt. Cuba Center, a premier native plant garden, is dedicated to supporting the environment through the practice and promotion of ecological horticulture. In addition to working side-by-side with our professional horticulturists, arborists and researchers, interns participate in educational programs including native plant identification, workshops and field trips. Summer interns maintain a field notebook and year-long interns complete a project that will be presented to the staff at the end of their internship.
We accept interns on a rolling basis. The application deadline is March 1, 2018.
Please be in touch with any questions or for additional information.
Sincerely,
Megan Schiff
