At-Large Scholarship – Spring Semester 2019
The Bartlett Tree Foundation is continuing to offer our at-large scholarships for the upcoming spring semester. This year The Foundation will be offering two at-large scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each. Much like our grant-in-aide scholarships, our criteria for scholarship qualification are that the student must be enrolled as a full-time student and that they have a genuine interest in a career in arboriculture or urban forestry.
The scholarships will be available to the Bartlett Tree Foundation supported schools as well as other, two and four year colleges and universities that have programs in horticulture, arboriculture, urban forestry or a related field.
Our at-large scholarship program allows the Foundation to assist new programs outside of our currently supported schools, while also providing the opportunity for existing Foundation schools to assist additional deserving students in their academic pursuits.
Application for the at-large scholarship is simple; the student should submit a one page narrative, outlining his/her accomplishments, academic record and career aspirations. The Foundation selection committee will review the student’s narrative and notify you and the student once the committee has made the selections.
