Description:
Starting with our basic greenhouse level position, the student/intern will experience and learn daily tasks including planting, watering, fertilizing, spacing, and other duties of greenhouse production. The student/intern will advance to the level of a section grower, and gradually work up to head grower level tasks. The head grower is responsible for overall crop quality, planning, scheduling, giving specific crop cultural protocols to section growers and managing labor to achieve top quality crops within budget and on schedule.
