Education: 2 or 4 year degree or certificate from an accredited Turfgrass Management Program preferred. Candidates currently enrolled in accredited Turfgrass Management Program will be considered. Candidates with strong work history and experience in the Turf industry looking for advancement may also be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years golf course experience. Ability to obtain MD pesticide and fertilizer license. Basic understanding of fundamental golf course management procedures: mowing, rolling, hand-watering, course set up, etc… Computer knowledge (word/excel). Personnel supervision a plus. Irrigation system repair /troubleshooting a plus. Spanish speaking is a plus
Duties: Hampshire Greens Golf Course is seeking a highly-motivated individual that wants to be a part of a great team and can execute the following:
Day to day golf course management with some long term planning including but not limited to: planning and prioritizing everyday operation, application calibration and supervision of chemical/fertilizer applications, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, employee training and supervision, safety program implementation, environmental programs, clubhouse grounds maintenance, driving range maintenance, budget preparation
Salary: $40,000+ DOE

Course: Hampshire Greens Golf Course is an 18 hole property including driving range with bentgrass greens and tees and bentgrass/poa fairways. Hampshire Greens has toro LTC plus automatic irrigation with Flowtronex pump station. 30,000-35,000 rounds played annually.
