Pearlstone Center is hiring a seasonal farm associate to join our team. Pearlstone Center’s retreats, educational programs, and farm engage more than 20,000 people each year including individuals, families, and Jewish, faith based, and secular organizations.
From March or April until October or November seasonal farm associates are responsible for tending our certified organic kitchen gardens, educational gardens, and U-Pick strawberries. This is in a key position on a small and highly effective agriculture and land stewardship team. Together, we have 40 years of experience in organic agriculture and farm-based education.
This is a rare position at the intersection of the sustainable agriculture and education communities. The seasonal farm associate is paid hourly at a rate of $12 - $15/hour depending on experience and effectiveness. This is a full-time position that is eligible for benefits.
