Versar, Inc. is seeking to a temporary Environmental Engineer/Scientist in Germantown, MD area. Primary Tasks: Knowledgeable with requirements of SPCC regulations under 40 CFR Part 112. Able to conduct site assessments Proficient to review and prepare plans in accordance with Federal and State requirements Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks for customer demands. Secondary Tasks: Comprehension of finalized Underground Storage Tank Federal regulations Understands requirements for various tank systems, ASTs/USTs Familiar with remediation activities as it relates tank closures Experience with Hazardous Materials Management and Emergency Response Plans |
| Requirements | B.A. Degree in Environmental Science or other related field. 2-4 years of direct experience required. Good working knowledge of applicable regulations, policy, law. Familiar with computer software programs. Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills. There may be travel involved. |
