Dr. Mohammed Khalid Othman, Professor of Soil and Water Engineering Executive Director and CEO National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Services (NAERLS) at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria 

Professor Othman is an expert on food security and agricultural development. He is leader of agricultural extension services for Nigeria at a time when the nation embarks on diversification of their economy into agriculture. Professor Othman also leads a program to convert Typha (cattails), an evasive weed in Nigerian waterways, into animal feed and fuels.
