Description:
China is building its own national park system now. As a country with over 150-year of history in national park system, the U.S. has a lot of experience and lessons to offer. The national park system research will summarize the development of U.S. national park system, analyzing the experience and lessons in the progress, identifying key issues in park system building in China and come up with policy recommendations based on the findings at the end of this research.
Responsibilities:
- Gather related information from governmental reports and other sources on national parks in China;
- Collect and analyze data;
- Identify key issues in the progress of national park system building in China;
- Compose a policy recommendation under guidance of supervisor;
- Perform translation and adaptation of certain material;
- Other tasks assigned.
