Hello, Terps! Did you know the LGBT Equity Center is open during regular hours all summer? Feel free to stop by and say hi if you're on campus.

We just wanted to send some quick information on opportunities to make sure you are aware of this summer.

Stay cool out there!

LGBT 350: LGBT People & Communication
Fall 2018
Register through Testudo
Do you want to raise awareness across campus about the experiences of LGBTQ+ people? LGBT 350, also known as Speakers' Bureau, is offered in the Fall and gives students the opportunity to study differences, stereotypes, and values distinguishing LGBTQ+ people and effective means of communicating their needs and experiences to those outside of the community.  This is an awesome opportunity to develop your public speaking skills and learn how to effectively give voice to issues affecting LGBTQ+ people. Questions should be directed to JV Sapinoso at sapinoso@umd.edu.
