The program, based at our Center For Climate Studies in Puerto Natales, Chile, will be offered during fall and spring semesters beginning Fall 2019. SFS students will take field excursions to some of the world's most massive glaciers, visit the renowned Torres del Paine National Park, and explore the rich biodiversity of the region including excursions to the Lakes District in northern Chilean Patagonia and the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. There is no shortage of stunning landscapes and challenging environmental issues to examine in this one-of-a-kind region.
This program will follow the SFS model offering 4 core courses plus the Directed Research course, totaling 18 credit hours:
