Roles & Responsibilities:
As an Intern on the Communications Team at MOM’s, your responsibilities will primarily include supporting and assisting the Environmental & Partnership Manager, and contributing to MOM’s Environmental Initiatives through meaningful projects. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, learning and executing the following:
  • Researching environmental issues and topics
  • Compiling, analyzing, and presenting data
  • Assisting with the development of new Environmental Initiatives
  • Completing additional research projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be:
  • Friendly, warm, and humble
  • An excellent communicator- written, verbal, and non-verbal
  • Able to acquire understanding and absorb information rapidly
  • Able to deal effectively with abstract, conceptual matters
  • Resourceful
  • Confident
  • A self-starter
Must have:
  • High level organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Experience with G-Suite
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Knowledge and support of our industry
  • Knowledge and support of company philosophy / mission / values
Additional Info:
This paid Internship will be onsite at MOM’s Central Office in Rockville, MD
The Intern will be working 2-3 days per week, approximately 12-24 hours, Monday through Wednesday
Internship duration will be dependent upon the Intern's availability, but has the possibility of being long-term.
Projected start date is mid-September.
